I am having trouble with the DVD ripper actually launching.
I ran the Activation program and it looked like it worked but after installing the actual program when it was finished I had an option to launch the program which when I tried it would not launch.
Any suggestions.

Uninstall it, reboot and start again.

I tried this a couple of times with the same result...no launch.
Here is what I did.
Add/Rmove Programs
Uninstalled the DVD ripper
Ran regedit and deleted the Aimersoft key
Ran the Activate program
Ran the DVD ripper installation program
Shut down and restarted Windows
Tried launching the DVD ripper
Result: No Launch
I was able to laucnh the iPod manger as well as the PSP manager but not the main program.
I also tried pulling up Task Manager to see if anything was going on but did not recognize any additional processes launching when I clicked on the DVD Ripper Icon.

I have the exact same situation. Loosing faith in Aimersoft quickly.
Exact same thing has happened to me. I have installed and uninstalled and restarted multiple times...NOTHING. Symantic- please let me know how I can whatever it is that you have to solve my solution.
I am still not able to get a launch of the DVD ripper.
Grace from Aimersoft replied to an email with similar uninstall - install - reboot, etc. There seems to be something deeper going on here that is preventing the program to start.
I have also tried the "Compatibility" modes as well as other oprions to try running the program with not luck.

Software Removed. I now know:
1)that even after TWO attemps Aimersoft still can't get the bugs out of its software
2)avoid Aimersoft
