  2. Glary Utilities - oh no not again...

AVG is available for free. If GOTD was going to giveaway an AV product - they could do a LOT better than AVG. But as giveaways do not include updates or support - do you really want antivirus that doesn't include updates?

Perfect Disk - Agree. The best defrag I've come across and I've used ALL of the major products including O&O, Diskeeper, JKDefrag, DirMS and Buzzsaw.

Registry Cleaner - at last count we have seen 200 different registry cleaners offered so far.

Download Manager: Getright? Most of the free download managers are as capable or more so. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_download_managers

Web Design - depending on your needs - the free alternatives are numerous. It really comes down to your experience level and what you are trying to do. Software to create web pages are a dime a dozen.

I think the best products are those that do something new in an innovative way. Something unique. Not 10 different video converters - or 5 different to do lists.

I want to see software that is doing something clever - something that hasn't already been copied and done by everyone else.... you know... same program - different icon.

true deffinitly see your point. Lots of alternitives. But just think almost for every software that costs money there is a freeware alternitive. But yes thankyou for your feedback.
