Day 9 - Hide & Secret - a Hidden Object Game! However, I've got this one. I got it and it's 2 sequels on disk for $1.98 at Half-Priced Books a few weeks ago. It's a nice HOG but "Will Scout" is annoying and the two characters slide in and out of the picture every time you click on something to pick it up! Maybe tomorrow!

they finally got the normal link (first post) working right. I was right - Farm Frenzy is the freebie for today - 2 more days to go (unless they decide to extend it). I wouldn't complain about an extension - At least I might actually get something.

Well the way I look at it is they are giving most games I already own away. So no use getting them again, but I have got a lot of games so maybe someone else will enjoy these games that don't have the money.

Farm Frenzy is a good one. Not as many levels as the others but still it is the game that started it all for that series.

Looking at it, the 1st one might have been Chicken Invaders, because if you expand it by clicking on "see all bestsellers in Casual Games", it is # 8

The link in the base post didn't give me the "day" number of game today but I think I found it. It looks like they still like Time Management. Day 8 is Farm Frenzy from what I see. That means of the 8 games, 5 have been Time Management, 1 is Platform, 1 is marble shooter and the first one is unknown.

I get the feeling that if they get one of the genres I like (maybe Match 3 or HOG), they'll get Big Kahuna Reef (free all the time at Amazon) and The Scruffs (give away by Amazon before) and that still doesn't help me!

Granny is about the only browser game I would play out of all of them, but still handy to know about :D

And so do I, but Diner Dash I got off Gamehouse a few months ago. I own all the Diner Dash's. That was a game I wanted years ago but never had the money to get. The same with a lot of games.

Oh well, I don't play many TM's, (esp. if they include the words Dash or Mania, they drive me nuts, lol) but thanks for posting about the giveaway, maybe next time. :)

I download the occasional game from Amazon too and have never had any problems. You can download from your account multiple times, however many times you want or need it seems.

Sometimes I need a reminder like this that I've a small library of games waiting for me over there.

That is if they still have it when the time comes! I ran into a problem with BFG on that, and was issued about 10 credits for the games that I had bought, but they had removed from their every growing list of worthless games...

Amazon's policy is for unlimited downloads once you've purchased it (free is considered a purchase). That means if you remove it for some reason (such as to free disk space), you can get it back anytime you want. You can also migrate it to a new computer the same way - anytime you want. They say if the game has a limited number of downloads, just let them know and they'll get you a new key.

I've never had a problem with Amazon's downloads (Kindle, video or software). BTW - you can't burn your video downloads - they're protected.

Amazon is good. I got today's download off them, because I don't have it and it is free. The same thing happens if you would have paid for it. It gets stored in your game downloads folder. I never been really interested in Coffee Rush or I would have got it but since it is free I got it. I have a few games off Amazon that I paid for. Some were on sale. My favorite being Believe in Santa. My brother's favorite Airline Tycoon on sale for $4.99. Believe in Santa was $6.99.

Amazon is good and Amazon won't charge your account unless you buy something.

I agree. I think they're trying to look like they're giving things away without actually having to do it!

I wish they'd offer at least one game that I'd actually want, even a little bit.

Day 6 is Coffee Rush

I've got their game download but it's not active. I've not had a problem. I, too have several free games from several years ago (one, Big Kahuna Reef - match 3 is still free) but I've never paid for any of their games.

I have more of a problem with their Kindle for PC. I had trouble upgrading it and when it finally took, I get an error message every time I download a book (I'm only downloaded free books) and it goes to the archive part where I finally get it. It's a hassle but I do get the free books and I rather like the Kindle for PC interface. I DO NOT have a kindle so I can't get the free Kindle games.

I don't know, I have belonged to Amazon for a long time, well before they did the game downloads, so my card was on file already. It could be they want you to buy more, and send you emails for everything you look at or buy, rofl, that is what I get!

I don't buy games from them, I just don't like their installer sitting in my tray, and if you disable it, you might as well re-download it! It says you can turn it back on by going into the folder, but that hasn't worked for me!

When they first launched the game download section, they gave away some free games that I didn't have, but so far they are batting a zero on these for me...

Just wondering why they insist on having a cardholder's name if they're giving it away for free....
