they do it all the time- I just got an email today from http://www.dvdvideosoft.com that there was a new version of free youtube downloader available.

I was using the free youtube MP3 converter to download a video from youtube but got message saying "link does not contain video." According to a blog on the programs website everybody's having this problem. Did youtube do something to disable downloading? Download helper still works but then I have to convert it to an MP3 and I'm too lazy to do that.
