Eolsoft's Flash Movie Player is particularly good. It can display Flash games at high resolution and in full-screen mode.

Hi Robert, Yes, on my laptop I do have the Sothink FLV player, but with our solar power system at the moment I haven't been able to use my laptop and instead am on my daughter's baby laptop. It is so hard to get my fat fingers over the keys and I can't get at my emails easily either. And, her laptop didn't have the Sothink FLV player but honestly I like very much this one. (Will reply to your email soon, all I need is a few sunny days during this NZ summer).

Hi Graylox, I do have VLC, in fact VLC is the only player I use for watching DVDs and I installed it on Kel's laptop too, but I guess that it is not 'associated' with the .flv files that my daughter has downloaded so it doesn't automatically run them when I click on them. This Eltima SWF and FLV player on Kel's laptop now automatically runs them so I'm happy with that. I have never tried the other one you mention.

I'm sticking to the Sothink FLV player from SourceTec.It once was part of a SourceTec giveaway ,but it's available for free too.
(...but keep in mind to opt out of the Ask Toolbar)

Sothink FLV Player
(FLV only)

-Edit- So far I made it to the moderation queue.LOL.

---Another EDIT---
It seems, our spam filter doesn't like converters and players...

Thank you Idunno, this was just what I wanted. Now I dont have that horrible blank icon on any .flv files. And, they play instantly too. Tried your full screen instructions but I wish the program stayed like that instead of having to redo the instructions every time you open it. Great program though, until now I converted every .flv file.
