No I haven't had a problem like this before but I used the mirror method and it worked fine. I think it didn't like the directory I created for the game so I used the default one and then moved the shortcut into the directory I wanted.

Also make sure you extract the contents of the downloaded zip file into a separate folder FIRST.

Often the setup/activation may fail if you try to run them using your unzip software (while the exe is still compressed in the zip file).

Terri, had you problems before with activating a GOTD?
bigbird is right, IE may not be in off-line mode, even when you use any other browser.

It could help to delete the GOTD+GGOTD cookies and clean the caches.

If you're talking about today's giveaway, I have the same problem. It says it can not find the source directory. I'm going to try it again because I really want to play this.

Make sure the IE (web browser) is not offline.
