Update. Downloaded and installed. So far I'm not able toplay the game because the download from their site has already been updated and it will only work with the latest update. Their servers must be working full pelt as I've not been able to update my copy yet. Still, from the limited game play that I've seen this definitely looks interesting. If you like games with space themes you'll love this. :)

I've already posted details of Minecraft HERE, together with images and video. I'm really impressed with Minecraft and pre-purchased two copies, one for me and one for my son whose almost as obsessed with Minecraft as he is with Atmosphir.

You can play the easy mode in minecraft for free. the only thing you miss out on is the monsters and zombies that attack you at night. The alpha release is excellent. so far I've not come across any glitches. It plays like a final release, though the developer is constantly adding new content to the game. :)

The developer has already made around a million dollars off the back of the alpha. looks like he's going to be a rich man as the gaming community start to play this really addictive game.

Of course this isn't to be confused with the other "Miner" game (I've also purchased... do I have a thing for digging holes?)

Minecraft - is also 50% if you pre-purchase during alpha. (It will soon be in Beta, and the price will continue to rise until the final product is released). According to the website over 540,000 users have purchased and are playing the Alpha version already.
