well, for one. my dad just got a new mac os x laptop. not a single paint typ program on it and i do not see much in the way of a word processor either (just a simple text editor that saves in rtf)

i i am thinking i might need a antivirus program too.

in the 1000's of cds i have most are pc and the few that are mac are classic and the new mac does not support nor install classic mac pre-osx.

I think the problem is finding software. I mean, iTunes already comes with Macs, so what exactly are they supposed to give you? ;)
