I would only add those considering it should be sure to mention advantages to the developer rather than just say &#34;I want this game/program for free!&#34; It's sort of like asking your boss for a raise. You want to give reasons why it's advantageous to the company, not just say &#34;Because I want more money.&#34; &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Advantages to the developer include:&#60;br /&#62;
a.) Getting their company name out to a large international audience.&#60;br /&#62;
b.) Good will toward their company from many, just for offering one program.&#60;br /&#62;
c.) Ability to advertise their other programs (the ones on the sidebar next to each day's offer)&#60;br /&#62;
d.) Instant feedback from a large audience, all in one day.&#60;br /&#62;
e.) Better chance people will buy other programs if they like the one offered&#60;br /&#62;
f.) People who like the program will recommend it to to others after the give away offer ends&#60;br /&#62;
g.) Their program gets it's own feature page that stays on the site so future GAOTD visitors may consider buying.
