That's a great idea. I would only add those considering it should be sure to mention advantages to the developer rather than just say "I want this game/program for free!" It's sort of like asking your boss for a raise. You want to give reasons why it's advantageous to the company, not just say "Because I want more money." </p> <p>Advantages to the developer include:<br /> a.) Getting their company name out to a large international audience.<br /> b.) Good will toward their company from many, just for offering one program.<br /> c.) Ability to advertise their other programs (the ones on the sidebar next to each day's offer)<br /> d.) Instant feedback from a large audience, all in one day.<br /> e.) Better chance people will buy other programs if they like the one offered<br /> f.) People who like the program will recommend it to to others after the give away offer ends<br /> g.)
