I'm just guessing but updating it shouldn't hurt windows, actually it will probably be a lot better if you upgrade it if you are not using that version. That's what I am using.

Thanks BuBBy for looking to it. I can imagine you cannot solve this problem. I already searched for another program to use, becauseI have some photos to put online.

I had a look at your description of the errors:

Installer information - aaa (what does this mean?)
after pressing OK window:
Fatal error - Installation ended prematurely of an error.

I didn't know where to start with this - and I've contacted the GOTD team (responsible for packaging the daily giveaways) and they also do not recognize the error messages.

This error is still a mystery - and we haven't had anyone else with similar problems - so it is probably something unusual with the PC you are installing Zoner Web Gallery onto.

I am sorry BuBBy, I clicked on setup.exe (not activate.exe, there is no such file)
I have seen that most people can activate the program. I don't know why I can't. I just tried to download on another PC (Dell) and that one can install without problems. Still I need this software on my own PC......

Firstly, I can assure the package does install both for me and as evidenced by the range of comments on the running program on the front page.

Secondly you correctly mention the package only contains a setup.exe and a readme.txt.

What activate.exe are you clicking on? Zoner Web Gallery doesn't require or have an activate.exe.

To install Zoner Web Gallery you must run the setup.exe, as explained in the readme.txt.

I'm sorry but the explanation of the steps you followed and the errors you saw are nothing like what I saw during my install of Zoner Web Gallery.

I just downloaded Zoner Web Gallery - unzipped it (only a setup.exe and readme.txt)
Cliked activate.exe -> window:
Installer information - aaa (what does this mean?)
after pressing OK window:
Fatal error - Installation ended prematurely of an error.
and after OK:
Succesfully activated.
But no program on my PC and no questions where to place the files.
So, in my opinion, this package does not install.

My PC: an AMD 1 GHz with WindowsXP pro.
