Hmm, the process left over was from the capture program? After I get my web feed on the first step of the "Wizard" I exit and there is no Capture process left over. I noticed though that the WebCamMax process was there and went to msconfig and there was an entry in the startup. I removed and after that I killed the WebCamMax process w/o a problem.

Do you do system backups everyday? I can't see how system restore will help otherwise w/o losing the GAOTD from yesterday, assuming you got it of course.

I don't know, but here I tried it on my TV tuner card (KWorld) and when I exited AVS Capture Wizard, it was still listed as a process. And I couldn't end task either. So I logged off and back again and then I went back with System Restore (System Tools) and I got rid of it.

I am trying to test this using my web camera, but at the 'searching for video devices' I get a small window with no text and an error message. Also, for some strange reason it insists on opening WebCamMax. If I press the >> button I get "Internal error" (code 0c1001). I just want to make sure the program is licensed. At some point my webcam does show on the Capturewizard screen, but the error message persists. Any clues?
