Thanks, I have downloaded WinUtilities just as I have done every time it has been on GOTD previously.

I find the free version of Advanced SystemCare let's you use it without much hindrance, the pop-up asking if you want to upgrade only appears once every several days which is very low down on a scale of intrusiveness.

I first used system mechanic on my windows xp computer 2 years ago or so. They gave us system mechanic 6.0 for free. I currently use system mechanic (the new version) and am a happy subscriber. I don't like iobits free version. It seems to me more of ad for the pro.

Also with a little patience you can get pro, glary, and tuneup for free.
Never seen system mechanic givenaway, other than a few licenses for a promo.

I have all of them and stand by my claim. I wouldnt be without system mechanic.
tuneup utilities is the worst one though.

I've been using the free version for the past year or so and have been happy with it.

My questions for anyone who's got the Pro version - is there a noticeable difference to system performance / do you think it's worth paying for?
