TNIP, that was a very nice error :)
I like this little game.

Soulspark - SonnyBone

It's a 2-D platform / adventure game where the entire focus is on exploration and trying to figure out what's going on. You aren't really told what to do or how to do it, so you have to explore your surroundings.

It's like Wall-E meets Fallout, crossed with Metroid minus the fighting. There are no enemies. Just you and the world. Your only real enemy is your constantly depleting battery. The game ends when you run out of juice or when you get to a certain door.

Oh sorry, its quite late for me when I post (1 in the morning). Thanks anyway. I never bothered to download the game link that I did post, so I don't have a review on that one.

Thanks, TNIP. Nice finds but it seems the link to Apocalypse Adventure is wrong.
The correct link is this one:
http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-16/?uid=491

They are the ones I was trying to remember. I kept thinking of a wheatstone bridge, lol. You're right they are both pretty good freebies and will do the job. Thanks for remembring for me Graylox. :)

Sleep well WR!

I don't think that we have to downsize these pics, they are very "light" only 18 and 43 kb.

A very good, quite easy to understand though highly expandable Photo Editor is Irfan View.
http://www.irfanview.com/.

Or choose one or both of the Fastone family:
FastStone Image Viewer 4.0
FastStone Image Viewer 4.0

http://www.faststone.org/

There are of course lots more, but I think these are very useful nearly all-round graphics tools, not only for beginners.

Thanks for the games, TNIP.

Nice one TNIP.

As for downsizing, I'll redo them for you later. I'm off back to bed for a few hours (lol). You need an image editor to be able to change the resolution. I use Zoner which has been given away several times via the giveaway project. I do have photoshops, but zoner is simpler to use and quicker. There are some good freeware alternatives which I should be able to list, but my heads still fuzzy. I'll come back o you on that one after I've woken up.

Hey, today I picked a game by Hempuli (a Developer that has been posted before, and that I chatted with before before the Ludum Dare), called Excavatorrr. Like most of his games, it is also a puzzle game.
In the game, you try to get as much gold as possible (to buy stuff from the shop), but the problem is that you have to dig down to get gold, but you have to be able to get back up to the top to buy stuff :P There are also monsters, un-diggable locations, and other stuff XD

Download:
http://hempuli.com/EX/

The second game is also by Hempuli, but strangely, is not on his site. He wrote it for the most recent Ludum dare, and is more of an action/exploration game called Apocalypse Adventure. You walk around, fight monsters (which is actually funner than most games that I have played. Don't expect MW2...its still a 2D top down, but is really fun). Also, make sure you read the readme.txt (I'm trying not to reveal too much... :P)

Download:
http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-16/?uid=1365

EDIT: sorry for the large images...but I have no idea how to downsize them oO
