On the contrary, the Witcher is an RPG. RPG's tend to be notorious for huge amounts of information. You figure 50-60 hours of play as opposed to a 6-7 hour shooter. Big difference in data.

Wow, these COD games are awesome looking. The cool thing is with these games is that the game actually looks like pics.
I love the reference to direct link to google pictures.lol

------------------------------------------------------
I'm with a Wizz on multiplayer games. I'm just not keen on them. It's bad enough cause your trying to learn keyboard layouts, but when you got people talking to and chatting. It is just to much.
I've been meaning to get into a group with the people here on different games, cause

I know they are gonna be easy going and learning to. The point of multiplayer games is to enhance the experience, not make it miserable.

I think thats why I quit playing WOW. Everyone is just so critical, I never had fun playing dungeons, which is were the multiplayer is.
-------------------------------------------------------
Its weird, I started downloading the witcher right before COD and COD is winning by alot 17% right now.I would have thought it was the bigger game.

Hi Txnnok, lol, yes it was very late by the time I woke up (nearly mid day, but then I didn’t go to bed till 06.30am, lol. As for being my preserve..... Nah..... I just have plenty of time on my hands so I tend to be the first posting details of the Steam offers. I’d like to see others do the same though as it takes a big chunk out of my day and I’d rather spend it playing all the games I’ve still not got around to playing (Most of the Direct 2 Drive games I bought when they had the fifth year anniversary still have to be installed and several games from G.O.G. such as Haegemonia, Obscure, both the Postal games, Celtic Kings and Decent 3 to name just a few); though that said, I still don’t mind.

I got COD 4 on pre-order two years ago and still have only played about a third of it. Part way through playing I got it into my head that I should complete the first game plus expansion (I've got the expansion, but never played it) and COD 2 as well before I continued with the third one (COD 4: Modern Warfare. I got stuck while trying to capture a bridge. I spent several days trying t take the bridge without sucess, so things ground to a halt, lol; then COD 5 came out which I've also hardly played. ( I just the first stage to get a feel for the game before intending to return to the earlier games). However, Aas you said above - too many games. I keep saving both for a rainy day, but there's always something else around the corner, lol.

I got an interesting game last night - Borderlands. I wasn't sure about the graphics at first, but it’s growing on me and now I think it's really cool. The graphics are a cross between GTA IV and Street Fighter IV, though the game play is FPS meets RPG. As for COD 4, it's brilliant game, the graphics are amazing, though I do think it's a little too scripted and other games such as Frontlnes: Fuel of war has graphics nearly as good as COD 4 and 5. Also, like most linear games, re-playability isn’t up to much. Still, for 40% off - it's definitely a bargain. I'm amazed that COD 4 has hardly dropped in price since its release over two years ago. I've seen much better games or games nearly as good (IMO) drop in price within months of being released. for example Medal of Honor - Airborne, which was released a few weeks before Call of Duty: Modern Warfare fell in price by half within three months of release. I think it's nearly as good graphically; maybe not in the soldier models department, but it had other attributes to compensate such as being more open than Call of Duty. I've been waiting for the next Medal of Honor for nearly 18 months now. It was advertised around Dec 2007, only five months after Airborne was released. but it still hasn't been released. I’m sure a lot would disagree with me saying there much better FPS games than COD 4 as many think COD 4 has been the best game ever to be released this decade. Personally I thought the two Tom Clancy Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter games were nearly as good as COD4 and those are now being given away practically.

I liked this game alot, but felt the single-player was way too short. As far as the price goes, I think it's a little high for as old as it is. I can't comment on the multi-player as I steer clear of COD multi-player games because they take their game seriously lol. It's waaaayyyyy too easy to get your butt handed to you in an online COD match. I don't think I'd give this game the number 1 spot, but it was enjoyable none the less.
