The rain finally seems to be over. Last night I got a message from a computer telling me about how to apply for FEMA benefits. I guess they called everybody in GA. Scary.

Terri.. we're in Western North Carolina in the mountains. I think Atlanta and SC get worse weather than we do, maybe the mountains protect us.

Where are you copmom? We have sun today but they are predicting a lot more rain. It's a mess here.

Terri, we got that 5 inches yesterday that you were expecting. I just checked the rain gauge, and we got 7-1/4" the past 3 days. Today's overcast, and they're predicting rain and thunderstorms until next Friday here, but at least the sun peeped out for a little while.
I tried Drawn, but didn't care for it so deleted it. But, the HO games have been helping pass the time with all the crazy weather we've had here.
Once I finish a game I use Revo Uninstaller to get rid of it, figure there's no sense keeping them on the computer once I've finished it. Don't care to play the same ones over and over... but that's just the HO types.

I downloaded it one last time from ArcadeTown which someone mentioned on another thread here. It gave me over an hour so I could finish the game. It was good but not great so I'm glad I didn't buy it.

I'll probably finally buy Drawn today. I didn't love the demo but it seems to be one of those games that you "just have to have". I'll probably be stuck inside all day since I just turned on the news to discover that the entire town (Atlanta) is flooded after heavy rains last night and rain all last week. They are predicting another five inches today. I'm glad I don't have to go anywhere.

I don't think you'll go to gamer's hell. I've done the same thing. Played my hour, didn't love it, so I went to another site, because a puzzle nagged at me. Almost finished and now I really [b]do not want to spend $20. I believe people should get paid for, the work they do! So it's not a habit. I also remembered the company that created it and bought next game, I liked from them.
I do believe Shockwave, has this game coming out on Tuesday. I haven't had a problem with them in the last 2 years and found no adware or spyware on my downloads.

Yesterday I played the demo from BFG for Midnight Mysteries - The Edgar Allan Poe Conspiracy. I liked it but wasn't crazy about it and didn't feel an overwhelming urge to purchase the game to finish it, so I deleted it. Today I kept thinking about the puzzle I was in when it closed and decided I wanted to solve the puzzle so I downloaded the demo from another site (fortunately it picked up where I left off). Then my hour ran out and you guessed it, I downloaded another demo. Now I am almost finished with it so it really doesn't pay to buy it just for one chapter. I feel a little sleazy having downloaded it from yet another site and I'm down to ones I'm not familiar with. I remember a thread on here several months ago with a list of reputable sites but I can't find it. Any suggestions and will I go to gaming Hell for downloading yet another demo? It would be nice if Gamehouse got it as a free game and solved my problem.

The trouble with getting all these free games is that it spoils me and I don't want to buy any.
