Sorry for this repost, but I thought that the following paragraph correctly represented it. :P
TPB3D is an ambitious open source project to create a free amusement park construction game. You can build a huge park and then take a first person view and "ride the rides". Key features include user created content and expandability. This will be a multiplatform (Windows, Linux, Mac OS X) game.

Once you have registered you must check your email for the mail from the forum. In that email will be a link you must click to validate the account. DO NOT let the account linger more than 5 days after registration or it could be deleted and you have to start over again. Once this is done, you will see the forums. Here are a few helpful suggestions.

We recommend rather then just diving into the forums, to instead use the New Visitors Center section of the forums. In there you will find many starter items and places to help get you familiarized with this bold and large project and its many aspects, what it can and cannot do. The first thing to do is say hello to the community. We have a section at the top of the forum called*****YOUR BIG PARK INTRO***** and this is the place where you can post your first topic and introduce yourself. Let us know if you have programing ( c + + ), modeling, sound recording, graphic arts design and even web site skills. Are you a ride historian with great knowledge of amusement parks and their rides, let us know? You will find this is the best and most friendly way to greet the community as we are always happy to see new people when they visit the site.

Yes it is. It's not a sound, its actually some music. And I have no idea, considering I've never downloaded the game.

Scary music? Yours must be for the fun house. Or maybe the music you hear when you've tossed your cookies after a roller coaster ride. *&:-D

BTW, is it synthesizer music?

...sorry for the misunderstanding. This is NOT a full game. Not even close. What I was actually trying to do was get people to help with this open source project. I actually haven't downloaded it yet...but soon some of my music should be in that package. (If you happen to hear scary music...its mine :P)

Hey, I'd thought I'd post the link to the actual download page for this game. The link you gave goes to this game's forums. The link to the download page can be found towards the bottom of the forums but isn't the easiest to find. So here's the download link:

I was going to post a link myself, but thought you would later. ;)

I love these sorts of games. I'm wondering if this is the same one I came across last year. I was impressed with it then apart from the scenery. i felt it needed more realistic scenery bqack then, but the actual ridesere excellent. Especially the viewpoint that put you in the seat of the rollercoaster; but then I forgot all about it. I've got too many games and tend to lose my way quite often. I keep rediscovering games I started years ago, that were abandoned for whatever reason (I tend to copy saves if I do a format, so have discs full of saves, lol) Though I will usually restart games that i've not played for a long time.

wow, I keep on forgetting links here. WR, I will send those, and the link to the TPB3D is http://www.tpb3d.net/index.php

Thanks for the heads up TNIP. By the way, the last lot of links you PM'ed me were lost before I could do anything with them (because of the change over to the new format). We weren't given any warning.

As I was browsing once again, I found an amazing project that I am, quite frankly, extremely excited for. Its called Theme Park Builder 3D, or TPB3D in short. It is a open-source project with a very active community all working to build this roller-coaster game, all with the intention to make it better. Everybody is very kind, and updates are often made. Ideas are submitted, edited, and implemented. Anyway, anybody that has programming, music, or 3D modeling/graphics experience are greatly appreciated...and for those that don't, testers are wanted too!
Hope to see you there!
