I got "Rahjongg: The Curse of Ra" on CD years ago as a freebie when I upgraded my Norton SystemWorks. It was around 2003 or 2004 - before they got too bad. The one I have has 50 levels. To open each level you need the "password" that is revealed each time you solve a level. Once you have all the passwords, you can do any of them in any order.

It's in the "mahjongg" family but would be what is known as "Rivers" in "Mahjongg Master".

BTW - as old as that game is, it still works under Vista!

Welcome to the forums, dewdrop1972!

Though I'm not Rabbit, I give you the link to Rahjong, but be warned, the WOT rating is orange because of spam. That doesn't mean, that the side is infected or dangerous.
This company has some nice games you don't find on other sites (I think). I often found the CDs for a little price in the bargain bin of department stores.

http://www.egames.com/RahjonggTriplePack
http://www.egamesonline.com/download/download_games.php

I have played that game a lot and will now reactivate it - first I have to find the CD - LOL

Rabbit,
Have you ever heard of a game called Rahjong? It's in the format of Mahjong, but played totally different. I used to have it on a disk of Mahjong games, but that was a long time ago. The one that I had from the disk only went up to level 8, but there was supposed to be more levels coming out for the whole game. I have never seen one. Would you happen to know if there is such a game and if it is a complete version?

I'm sure they will get more as time goes on. I just hope they don't go the way of Freegamepick and MyPlayCity (see Match 3 thread for details)

It's been a long time coming, but Gametop have finally extended the number of genres they have for free to include time management and hidden object games. As yet they only have one of each, but it's a start. With the proliferatio of HOG games over the last 18 months it was bound to happen. you just have to go over to Gamehouse or Big fish Games to see HOG's being released virtually every day. I was wondering when the free games sites would finally grab some of these.

It may be worth keeping an eye out for more of these to appear. . After match three games started to lose popularity Gametop increased its stock of match threes from only a few to nearly 30. Lets hope the same will happen with these genres. Especially with the HOG's

Great Secrets Da Vinci: (HOG)

http://www.gametop.com/download-free-games/great-secrets-davinci/

Cake Queen (time management)

http://www.gametop.com/download-free-games/cake-queen/

Regards

Whiterabbit

p.s.

To newcomers to this site, please be aware that some games from Gametop do try and intal toolbars and hijack your home page, but this can be availded by ensuring tick boxes are unchecked; also when you close down any Gametop game it will open up your internet browser to Gametops home page. This is instigated directly from the game and not via a registry entry and is absolutely safe. Closing down the page leaves no 'residue'. The site is rated Green by WOT. I have noticed an increase in pop ups from this site, but I still think it's one of the better free games sites out there. None of the games have in game advertising and they are available 24/7 unlike games from places like Gamehouse which do have an increasing amount of advertising and you can only download a particular game within a 24 hour period.
