Sorry for my conspicuous absence over the last day. I'd set up our weekly giveawayoftheday Steam game last night and was then taken ill. I've been in the land of nod for nearly 18 hours since and am still not all there, so please forgive me if I don't eloborate further. I'm really not feeling all that well. I only logged on post the games I'd promised for today. Thankfully I'd already got them prepared. I'll hopefully be back in a few days all the better for a long sleep.

Thank you for your well wishes over being promoted to admin (is that a good thing? lol) I'll do my best to keep the forums free of rubbish, and will always try to be on hand to help.

Congrats Wizz. I'm not so sure about Wabbit though as it seems he is in now in charge of Middle Earth??!!!????. Sure hope he takes it easy on those Hobbits. JK, Wabbit, I really mean congrats of course. Good Luck to both of you. Since I live in the North West I guess I have to suck up to, errrrr, help, ya that's it help, Wizz now. :)

This just in: That single most important source of information, a commercial, just informed me that it is 3:25PM EDT and was presented by CKPC - South Central Ontario's source for up to the minute News and Sports. That means I'm still living in the Great White North although South Ontario is considered the "banana belt" of Canada. Google tells me that EDT is code for Eastern Daylight Time which of course means that I'm nearly safe from Wizz, phheww!, because that puts him 2 or 3 hours behind me depending on where exactly he lives. If that turns out to be Vancouver, BC then there is absolutely no reason for him to ever complain about the weather as they have only 2 seasons, rain and August. :) Well back to my Duragesic induced befuddlement.

Good luck to both Wizz and Wabbit. They're going to need it. LOL

There was a disagreement of sorts, during which Lee offered to leave. I discussed this with the other Admins, and decided it was probably best for everyone involved, that we accept that offer, and allow Lee to depart with as little fuss as possible.

I know some people will be curious, but to be fair to all people involved (there are often 4 sides to every story... or 5?) it is not fair to anyone to discuss the details further. I would like to thank Lee for the time he has put into the forums, and I wish him well.

I also would like to thank WR and wiz over the past few days for their support. I couldn't ask for 2 better co-admins, so I will just have to make do with the two I have now. ;) I know they will both continue to do a great job not only in the forums, but also on the main site.

Let me add my congrats to these posts! I must ask, like LeKanaw, what did I miss about Lee?

Congratulations, Wizzard and Wrabbit. I would like to thank all the admins and moderators for their hard work. GOTD is sure to benefit from the new additions. And welcome back, notblocklox.

My impression is the more the merrier. It seems like GOTD has had such problems getting people to moderate the comments section that it often suffers. I don't think, for example, that there's only been 6 people comment on today's GOTD software, and that the last one was at 3:47 GOTD time. That makes the great contributions that people like Bubby and Lee and WR make only more important, and it's great to see that people like Wizz are also willing to step up and contribute some of their own precious time. Seems to me that the more Admins - at least of the quality of those 4 - that GOTD can find, the better. Thanks a lot, all of you. As to the forums, I think the main thing that has been good about those moderators is the quality, regardless of the quantity.

In the WWW is the wealth of information sometimes overwhelming and confusing, especially "newbies" need some advice and help. I know that our guests/friends/users will always get a friendly and competent answer from both of you, just as from BuBBy well - the Moderators and many other users are of course providing little assistance too :).

Three Troubledoers

It is good to have now in each major time-zone a man with the licence to push the red button: in the South-East BuBBy, in the North-West Wizz and the Wrabbit in the Middle by the rule of thumb.
Lee abandoned the ship. His family will be happy, that he now has more time for them. Thank you for pushing the button so full of verve all the years.
