I always knew all that gaming was useful for something. Next time my wife says I'm playing too much instead of the old excuse of it being a good way to distract me from the pain I'll have to recite the above example; lol

Great, I hope the new one's working right. Check those links out, though, if you haven't already, because there may be lint in the evacuation duct, unless that got all cleaned out with the new one. It could adversely affect the new one. It's a good idea to watch the hose doesn't get crushed or crimped or punctured, and to clean the lint out of everything, at least once every 5 years, or more frequently. It only takes one little fire.... I had fire safety drummed into me in the Navy. If the ship catches on fire in the middle of the ocean, ya can't run to safety.

I might check out BFG. As you can see, I have an awful lot of arrogant ignorance I'm just DYING to plague people with. Oops, you may have open Pandora's box!

Check out that link on Crystal Caliburn if you want to know a little more (or was that just related to my other message :) ). I clicked the link on the software package it's bundled in and it says PC.

Crystal-Caliburn sounds interesting. Is it only for the Mac?

Thanks Watcher, I bought a new stackable one which works great. If you ever want to chat I have the same user name on the BFG forum.

Hmmm, get to Carnegie Hall through the Twilight Zone.... That might work.

Just wanted to say, sorry about that thing before. Hope you got your problem ironed out (no clothing pun intended). I never felt you did anything wrong. As to going to another forum, I haven't seen anyone here post their computer certifications, yet we don't seem to be shy about giving software advice. I hope we're not going to start taking this stuff TOO seriously. These links illustrate what I was trying to tell you. If you still have the problem after doing this, then it's serious. Without checking this, it's hard to make a true operating speed assessment.

http://www.ehow.com/how_112348_fix-clothes-dryer.html
http://www.hometips.com/repair-fix/dryer-open.html
http://www.hometips.com/clothesdryer_cloggedhose_video.html

Don't mean to scare you. Just want to illustrate how this problem effects your situation and subsequent decision and how you can handle some or all of it yourself.

:)

BTW, I loved that game, it must be somewhere in any dark cupboard.
Here is a freeware version - sadly only for mac.

Have you heard the old New York City music joke, NBL? One fellow stops another on a New York street and asks, "How do you get to Carnegie Hall?" And the other fellow says, "practice, practice, practice". In other words, get out your controller! There's probably a version of that joke in every country.

So I'm watching Public Broadcasting's "Live from Lincoln Center" (one of the famous New York City music halls) here in the states and the guest artist is one of the great violinists, Joshua Bell. (A child prodigy, he was in front of his first orchestra at age 7. He's truly marvelous, catch this show if you can!) And the announcer throws in this tidbit: Bell helps hone his skills by playing video games. In fact, he was the '96 World Champion of the Crystal Caliburn pinball machine simulation game, scoring over 4 billion (!):

http://www.answers.com/topic/crystal-caliburn

Which makes him, Ahem, a "Pinball Wizard". (Excuse me while I put my ear plugs in. The groaning is pretty loud!)

So next time you're criticized for too much game playing, just respond that you're preparing for your next recital. Perhaps even, a command performance!

By the way, I expect free tickets! =)
