Hi paf I too have been had problems I am using fire fox 3. 5 .1. And have found that it does not down load to a desk top, so you have to go to tools and double click on the down load you have done. Hope this is some help. Also have had some trouble with the site and gone back later as it was not loading the page properly.

I got those two particular games from FreeGamePick myself before I knew about Gametop. I don't see any reason to get them again. ;)

GameTop has the one advantage that it doesn't make you play games with the shortcut to avoid the toolbar garbage. However, I do have one older game from FreeGamePick that doesn't do that so it looks like the way they may all be going. With my luck, I'll be figuring out similar for GameTop soon and posting how to get around THAT one.

Hi everybody, I couldn' download from gametop until now, but Iive seen that Da Vinci Secrets was mentiond before here http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/forums/topic/5689 so I went to FreeGamePick, got the 2 games there, and followed Dragonlair's instructions.
Yupyyyyyy! Everything worked like a charm. But I still don't know why I can't download those 2 games from gametop...

Thanks notblocklox, I will be patient... but I have no faith... I'm just trying this very moment and it is completely dead… If you and other people manage to download, using the same browsers, then the problem must be in my computer, somewhere, maybe with security settings… Thanks for your time and your help.

Hi, paf, just be patient. sometimes the site has a hiccup.
Some days ago I had the same problem with daVinci. A little later I got it. Have just checked it and could download both of them.

To Paul and Dragonlair, thanks for all the help and advice. But I still can't download those 2 games using Opera and Firefox 3.5.1.. I just tried and nothing happens. Nor using Orbitdownloader. I can download the other games from the site, like Pearl Diversion, or Voyage Puzzle, with the 3 browsers (IE8, Opera, Firefox). I have almost all the games of Gametop... Probably it is something with those 2 games: Great Secrets Da Vinci and Lost Treasures of Eldorado. It seems I will not get them on Gametop. Do you know any other way or site to get these games?

I just downloaded Pearl Diversion from Gametop.com this afternoon from Firefox 3.5.1 with absolutely no problems.

It may be some games and it may be your browser. My main board has a secure download and many users cannot download the .zip files from IE. They get some strange error about a non-matching URL. I just tell them to use Firefox.

Thanks a lot, Paul. I will try to use another browser. I'm using IE8, and until now I have never had this problem before. And the strange thing is that I still manage to download the other games on the site. I just can´t get the particular ones I've mentioned, which are the more recent ones.
I will let you know if it works with theses games with another browser.

Hi paf, I went to the site and downloaded without problems!

I am using the latest K-Meleon browser ( http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/ )

What browser are you using ?

A few things you can do are:

1) Try a different browser (if you have more than one)

2) Try cleaning the browser's cache (either with the browser itself or an utility like Glary Utilities*)

*If you use Glary one-touch maintenance, be careful not to ask it to clean the cookies (you can set that in the tracks eraser options).

3) If your computer and browser have been on for awhile, close the browser and the computer (reboot) and then do the clean-up.

Hi everybody, I would like to know if any of you can help me. I can't download the mor recent freeware games from gametop.com: Great Secrets Da Vinci and Lost Treasures of Eldorado. I have always downloaded freeware games from there without any problem, the last one was Voyage Puzzle. But now, when I try to download these 2 particular games, nothing happens. I don't know if somebody has the same problem, and if someone knows how to download these 2 freeware games.
