It's probably just a coincidence that it has turned out that way - as the mechanism and location of the registration data is similar for both programs and games.

If by upgrading from XP to Vista the registration keys for the programs was lost - without a backup there probably isn't much you can do (even with a "registry backup" I would definitely advise AGAINST restoring a Windows XP registry backup into Vista)

Not much of a consolation - but at least the games still work.

I personally havent had any problems with anything on here not working on Vista.

Is there any way to get the progs working ?
None of them work after installing Vista - well, they work - but arent registered.
Yet all the games I have tested ARE.
