or just read the comments, often I get more interesting leads from them than the giveaway- under win2k neither works 4 me, but I grabbed a copy of gfi backup 2009 home for later & let east-tek slide.

god, I hated assembly- but then, it was 8080 and Z-80, rewriting bootstrap loaders for CP/M. anybody want a couple of S-100 sytems with terminals?

<sigh> If people would just take a bit more time to read stuff on the download page... Reminds me of a page in Ketman's 8086 assembly tutorial (never got through that...), about dolphins that trail alongside ships for the heck of it. I bet there's a lot of people that just click "download" and doesn't read the instructions (I don't read program help, but at least I do look at the description and any additional instructions on the page).

Following the instructions in README.TXT each day will get you activated/registered, regardless of the Giveaway.

That's the real key..... read the README.TXT

Maybe if it was renamed to "NO, REALLY... WE MEAN IT... READ THIS FILE.TXT"

You get a key in your email when you follow the instructions in the README.TXT file in the downloaded ZIP file by visiting the East-Tec website. ( copied from the comments page for this GOTD )

I downloaded, got a message that it was checking for an available key, then the process continued, and when I opened the program, it was a 15 day trial. I definitely did something wrong. What?
