Thanks, WR. I wasn't so much that I was interested in Chicken Attack as I was just trying to figure out what and wasn't a legitimate deal from Avanquest. Anyway, thanks for the generous offer. I'm not that heavy a gamer, though. Got plenty I haven't played, yet. One of the other of our good, veteran gamers might want to take you up on that, though. :) If, like me, you can ever find one of those old passwords. LOL.

Hey Watcher, if you realy want Chicken Attack, you can have my Real Arcade (R.A.)account. I no longer use it. All the games I bought from R.A. I've replaced because for quite some time I couldn't remember my password, so couldn't re-download the games following a format. There are several games available including one of the Ricochet games, Chicken Attack, Timebreaker, Funkyball Adventure, Adventure Ball Bricks of Atlantis plus a few more (all arkanoid games).

Thanks, WR. Of course, during Advent, the offers were good all the time. So, we'll have to watch and see if it's different for the summer giveaway. I think, though, that some of the folks who posted in other threads, downloaded full versions after the initial day, but I don't remember for sure. And the restrictions may be unique to the Chicken Attack offer. Thanks again.

I definitely got the full version. I would have replied earlier, but was busy yesterday, and have slept for most of the last 15 or so hours. :)

Maybe it was only free for the particular day that i t was given away. I didn't check it until late in the day, so maybe there were only a few hours of the free offer left when I posted the link. Alternatively because I already have the game (having purchased it twice), it may have already been registered. Thoguh there was no mention in the original offer that it was only going to be a demo.

You're right, Glen. I don't think this is the full version. At best, it's an expanded demo. Or maybe this is just the regular demo. Which still puts it a step up over some of the games sites. Big Fish's demo of it allows just an hour of play. On this one, the French site says 10 free levels, which isn't too bad.

When I go to the site I am directed to download a demo version installer, not an installer for the full game. When I go to open the game, I am asked if i ant the full game. Then I am redirected to another site, where I think they want me to buy it. How do I get the free version? (I do not understand French. Am I missing something?)

Edit: The link for Chicken Invaders gives a demo but the Morpheus Photo Morpher allows you to register for the full version so I guess I will have to wait until it actually is June 14th in my time.

The French avanquest 10 giveaway includes one of the better 3D arkanoids (well it's one of the better ones in my opinion), called Chicken Attack. I originally bought this when it was first released via Real Arcade, but thought I'd lost it. I actually repurchased it a couple of months ago because I really missed playing it (and then found my Real Arcade password, lol).
