gdawe5.....Well, it doesn't really say but I guess it means 7 days from the day you begin the free trial. I don't know how long they'll be offering it though.

Sue....You're right it's 7 days.....don't know where I got the 14 from....UGH! Good grief I wish they wouldn't use such similar names....GamePass, FunPass etc. I get confused easily enough as it is :P

I've heard that before about Real Arcade. I don't like any of these ____pass club thingys. I wish they'd just give special offers and discounts and forget their crazy club junk. they'd probably do better in the long run.

Oh well......whatever :)

I think we're talking about two separate things. I've also downloaded the free games and haven't had too many problems. But as far as the Fun Pass goes, from what the other people were saying, once they get your credit card information (which I believe you have to provide in order to get the free trial of Fun Pass) it is a nightmare to get them to stop charging your card even if you tell them you want to cancel your membership. Some people said they had to go so far as to cancel the credit card they had used so Gamehouse couldn't keep billing it. I have no first-hand knowledge of this but that is what many people on the other forum said.

"Terri & Rosn"

BK, you got all the info correct, except that the FunPass trial is 7 days, not 14. I've never tried FunPass, but I did try RealArcade's GamePass, some time back. It was okay (said blandly, mind you), but was a !ROYAL PITA! to cancel the service. I think you can cancel FunPass online at the web site, but not so with GamePass. With the latter you have to call to cancel, whereupon you get someone who lives on a different continent from you, and likely a different language. The people *I* always got were able to speak my language, but not well enough for me to clearly understand them, or they me, and it got to be confusing. I told one of them I wanted to change the email address for my account and told him what the address was (my Comcast account), and he combined the first part of that account's address with my current Yahoo account. I had to create a whole new Yahoo account just to access the games I had gotten through RealArcade/GamePass. The only thing good that came from cancelling via phone calls was the extended months' services they gave me to encourage me to stay with them. I got tired of having to remember to make the phone call every month, though. The same month I made that decision, is the same one that they stopped offering the continued free month...(chuckle).

Terri.....Yes you're right that a free trial is always available, but like I was saying, the free trial is for one hour and if I'm reading this offer correctly there is no one hour time limit on the games during this 14 day FunPass free trial period. The email is kinda unclear but I think that's what they're saying.

I was leery of them at first too, but I've been using them now for about 4 months with no problems at all. Yes, you have to put up with the ads, but after about 15 seconds the x pops up and you can close the ad so it really isn't so bad. Most of the games go for quite a while before the ads pop up.

The point I was making is that the offer of a free trial is ALWAYS available, it's not a time sensitive offer (at least for now) so you don't have to do it right away. I heard such bad things about Gamehouse from people posting on another site, I'm afraid to go near them.

I don't know for sure how it works because I've never tried it.

Terri & Rosn.....I thought you get just one free game each day and you can play any games for free but only for a limited time (usually an hour) but if you want FunPass you have to pay for it. The difference with this offer is that you get FunPass for 14 days free and during the 14 days you can play all their games (their entire catalog) for free...with no time limits.

Am I misunderstanding it?
