Maybe taking the uninstall file from the freeware version will solve the problem. Make sure you save what's left of the original v11, or better still just rename the installed Starburn to Starburn v11, then install the freeware version, then transfer the uninstall file to v11.

Have you tried creating a new shortcut from the v11 executable? The program should still work without the uninstall file (unless you uninstalled the product with the uninstaller as that would wipe the registry as well). I hope this helps to solve your problem?

The program will probably be given away again later this year. We do seem to get updates on a six monthly or so basis. :)

Hi, Jacko,did you try Revo Hunter Mode?
I'm sure that will solve the first part of your problem. The second part is, that it is too late to install the GOTD-Starburn Version. Just download the free version from the Starburn homepage, it's similar only without the remote device. I think you have already read the warnings about adware?

I was installing V12 when my computer crashed and after I restarted the file StarBurn\unins000.dat is missing on V11 and I was unable to install V12 becaause of this.
Could someone send me the file please, thanks
