I've got two copies so that I can play online with my son. The Steam edition is called the Black edition and differes from the hard copy verion in that some of the blood tapestries/banners are painted black plus it's been updated to the latest version which includes a new mode plus extra maps. The original can be updated via patches, but the banners remain blood red.</p> <p>If you don't have this game it's highly recommended. Either Valve screwed up or this game is extremely popular. </p>
