I think the WoT rating is probably false. They don't actually say why it is given a poor rating.
The McAfee SiteAdvisor gives it a safe rating for all the downloads.

I have decided to post an extra game for the weekend. Xops is a single player and multiplayer first person shooter that has good gameplay and lots of missions.

X Operations is a Fantastic First Person Shooter with 007 style graphics and Incredible Gameplay Created by two Japanese Game Developers. You, the hero, can complete any of 59 missions Ranging from clearing a whole city to eliminating a single target it KT mode. Though the Graphics may not be incredible you can see quite enough to play the game and have a fun time doing it. Also, with the Online version, you play versus your friends, family, or anyone else. There is a vast cache of Weapons a your disposal including M-1 Benelli Shotguns, Ingram MAC10 Machine Guns and HK PSG-1 Sniper Rifles. During each mission, you control one of many predetermined characters. These include police officers, Spec Ops Soldiers, Military Personnel and civilians. You proceed through the level, completing whatever mission is set out for you (See Extra Info>Mission Types for more details.) This, in a nutshell, is XOPS.

Extra Info (and Cheats):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dfafQZc6C5s

Download (4.78 MB, 9.91 MB for the Hebis version):

A note when "installing" X Operations: You must run config4xops5.exe and press the "save" button prior to running the game, as this creates a configuration file which is required to run the game.
