Hi Bubby,
I set the refresh rate up to 85 , the game window is not distorted anymore. Thanks alot for the tip.
I must say , after playing AstroMenace for a while, that I much prefer playing the Star Blaze type of games. I think I will be losing interest in AstroMenace fairly quickly.
Have a great day,
Barry

In the Options - under "Video and Audio Options" - try changing the refresh rate - At first to "Default" then try starting at 60Hz and working your way up. Maybe your monitor is having trouble showing the game at the selected Refresh rate and Resolution.

Hello,
I downloaded, instaled, and after changing my screen resolution to what they specified (1024x768 or better), the game ran and looked great, no problems. I shut the game down, came back to it after work, and now when AstroMenace is running the left side of the game window is distorted, it curves in about 3/4s of an inch to the middle, on my monitor, no matter what screen resolution I use, and I tried them all. Also, it might be my imagination I did not play it long enough to be sure, the game play itself, seems to be a lot darker.
Has anyone else have this problem? My computer is up to specs for this program, and I can run games like Myst, Oblivion, Morrowind, with no problems at all.
Have a good one,
Barry
