Hi, clobermier... I'll add one that I just finished: Three Cards to Midnight. EXTREMELY immersive with superior graphics, with a storyline that grabs you hard from the very beginning. I haven't been so impressed with a game for a long, long while.

I would agree with Jan regarding the Dream chronicles games, they are much more invlved than just a plain old simple hidden object game. I'd also recommend Unicorn Castle which also has puzzles included. Maybe Treasure Masters as well.

Hi Cindy, just thought I'd put my 2 cents worth in. I frankly haven't found many games that are as good as Ravenhearst but you might try Escape Rosecliff Island. I started playing Dream Chronicles long while back but got stuck on the weights and then had to reformat so never went back to it but it is similar and now there are 3 Dream Chronicles but I don't know if they are all the same. I think it is great that you and your daughter enjoy playing them. I am sooooo totally stuck on the HOG's (hidden object games) that I will play loads of them. I don't see well and it is the biggest satisfaction I get on my computer. Good luck!

Hi Cindy, I love to hear stories of Moms and daughters competing at games. When she was here, my mom and I used to constantly compete. It's the base for some of my best memories of her. Here's a little something I will throw into the pot for you.

While not scary, Azada and Azada Ancient Magic are both games that get you involved. They test your puzzle mastery skills through matching, memory, hidden object and puzzles variying in complexity. More importantly, it's thoroughly enjoyable. For your perusing pleasure, I've included a link to the Official Azada Game site... http://www.azada-game.com/
I hope it offers you and your daughter many hours of great entertainment!!! Let me know what you think!!
Cheryl :)

Because of the fun we had with the Return to Ravenhearst game, I did get Sleepy Hollow and the other Mystery Case Files games in the hopes they'd be similar, but they're really not. They're just hidden object games where you click on an area to check out, find the objects, move to the next area. The R2R game was more involved and immersive, with not just hidden objects, but puzzles to solve, and you moved from room to room. The "scary" atmosphere really attracted my daughter, too, though it's not a necessary game component. There might not be anything like that out there yet, I just know there are a lot of gamers here. Thanks for your responses and ideas, I really appreciate them!

Hi Cindy
You should like all of the Mystery Case Files games.
I loved Madame Fate.
You can head on over to Gamezebo and check out the game reviews.

Hi Cindy ..how about the Legend of Sleepy Hollow?
I got it through Gamehouse (when it was offered free one day) ; haven't played MUCH but it seemed really atmospheric and well put together...

My 15 year old daughter and I had a blast playing and beating this game together. I've looked and looked, but simply can't find one that's similar in nature to Ravenhearst, though. There are lots of puzzle solving games, and lots of hidden object games, but I'm unable to find a game that immerses you the way that the Ravenhearst game did. Any ideas? We've tried the Nancy Drew games, and they just didn't hold her interest as well. So, if anyone has any ideas or thoughts, please let me know.

Thanks,

Cindy O.
