I also got the same problem. I'm sure it is just that game, as I did download another game just to make sure, and had no problems.
Today's game Cate West downloads ok, but everytime an advert break comes up, the game goes to small screen and you have to go to options to make it full screen. :(

Hi,guys,I had the same problem.I tried to download it,but had a "network error",I changed the network-the same result.And at the same time I downloaded few audio books without any problem.I am gonna give one more try today.

The game is still available this morning and I'm having the same problem. It will only download if I select to install Chrome. If I unselect it I get the error.

I tried to download Art Detective, too, and got an error message. I contacted them through Customer Service. Hopefully they will have the problem resolved soon. As for Chrome, I always uncheck that box, and never have a problem being able to download a game because of it.

Hi! Uncheck or check Google Chrome option didn't help me. The game won't install no matter what I did. The game download Art Detective is therefore defective.

If I left Chrome option checked it would start to download. I stopped download and gave them feedback.

I don't think the problem is because they're pushing Chrome. Chrome has been part of the game install that you need to opt-out of for a couple of weeks now, but until today I never had any problem with unchecking the Chrome option and installing the game only. Today I'm getting "A network related error has occured . . ." message. There's a mention of this on the GameHouse support page as something that sometimes occurs. They suggest trying again (which isn't working), temporarily disabling your firewall ( which I'm not willing to do, but I've tried switching to Windows built-in firewall in place of Comodo, which doesn't help, and besides this is the same firewall I have operating every time I download a GameHouse game), and "reset" Firefox or IE. I'm not sure what they mean by that, but I tried closing Firefox, clearing my temporary internet files cache, and trying again. It still doesn't work. Anyway, this is apparently a problem which occurs with some downloads, and I don't think it's dependent on installing or not installing Chrome. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

I tried to download the free game for today Art Detective. It will not install unless I choose to download Google Chrome which I do not want. Gamehouse should not be making Google Chrome a mandatory download.
