I'm not too sure how to do restore or whatever. I'm horrible with computers and I have bad luck. And even then, restoring may not bring everything back.

As for the key problem, just re-download it and click on the key icon.

My question is like the topic creators. Will this mess up my computer like the comments say it will?

I have a lot of stuff on my computer that can't be replaced. :(

But I DID find comments (here). No need to use Google. Although I suppose I could look for more on other sites. But I don't know why :^)

Well with most software it's always best to make a complete system backup that can be returned to what it was like before you install any software.

yubetcha, you can always use google and find out comments about the software.

Apart from patching uxtheme only other software I only came across was windows blinds
and another called style xp.

Not really into skinning and styling, did a lot of boot screen making few years ago, that was as far as I wanted to go.

If you're unsure then don't install it.

I did, but, didn't like it, so restored an image back to before install.

I have noticed in the comments section that some people had a lot of trouble uninstalling it. One person almost had to reinstall Windows! I was considering downloading it, until I read those comments.

I would expect so.

I did notice when I tried it, the folders and links on my desktop got moved.

I use a hacked uxtheme for my skin, I use Longhorn (revolution) Lunar silver theme.

Had it for a few years now, so got used to it.

For free you can download a uxtheme patcher, plus many sites give out themes and skins for free.

You can download the multipatcher from http://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=501245

You can visit http://www.deviantart.com or better http://www.themexp.org/

and download them and install them in your windows/resources folder for free usually.

I would like to know if this program is reversible. If I download it and I don't like it, will it be easy to get back to the way I had it before or not?
