This is a great piece of software. It really can make a big difference if your computer is older or just does not have the best hardware to run a game. It can also be used to speed up your computer for things other then games. I have used it when doing video editing or using other CPU/video card intensive programs.

nice one, great piece of software if you have little RAM to spare. Sadly I just lost my giveaway copy of the Pro version due to a system error.

You can configure windows to do something similar, but this seems like a good idea, if all you need is one click of the mouse to swith off all the unecessary stuff. I could have done with this when Battlefield 2 first came out as I could only run the game with around 40 bots, even with a lot of background programs turned off, (I used to use a freeware program originally created for the flight sim crowd, that did a similar thing).

I can't play GTA IV on high graphics, but apart from that every other game I've bought recently I can still max out the graphics and play with no problems, though I'm sure I'll need it with even better games on the horizon if I don't upgrade my cpu and graphics cards soon.

Thanks for the heads up

Have you noticed any significant increase in speed using this? I have been using it since a couple of beta's back, but forget about half the time to turn it on.
I can say that I haven't noticed any lagging or slowing of a game when its running.
