Thanks for replying, I really thought I was alone in all this. It seems that the more I research the forums there are a lot of people who had the same problem.

I also uninstalled the software, but I would have enjoyed the oppertunity to play with it some more. (kind of felt cheated on that one)

I did email the company this morning about similar issues.

Their stance is, it has to be registered in that 24 hours.

Even if you did register it, then lets say kept the key as you may had to (like me) restore a backup prior to registration within the GUI, then even though it thanks you for registration their server won't accept it.

They also added that they don't do support and we are bound by the rules and regulations of GAOTD.

I only was trying to quiz them about their server side with respect to registration.

Be honest, the software is not much cop and I have removed it.

It changes file system cache settings on my system from 256mb to 4mb or 0mb and also changed my processor cache to 0 from 128mb.

I know you can change it back and then add it to ignore list in software, but to me this is one of the many flaws in the program.

I have a registered version of TuneUp Utilities v2007 which helps keep my system not quite as I want it but an acceptable level.

One of these would be nice for free here:

jv16 PowerTools 2006
Registry cleaner and manager, uninstaller, system fixing tool

RegSupreme Pro 1.4
Registry cleaner and manager

RegSupreme 1.4
Registry cleaner

jv16 Powertools would be magic!

I too had the same problem. I registered and the program worked just great... but this morning it's not registered anymore. Something should be done about this!

Kind of a bad title, but I wanted the chance to warn everyone not to wait till the last few minutes to download & register.

When Advanced Windows Care Pro was listed, I forgot to check the giveaway until late. (like 14 min left) I downloaded and installed and the program worked wonderful.

The next morning low and behold ... it wasn't registerd. I was mad at me for not checking several times. ( I usally do ) Funny thing is, this is the only program that didn't keep the registration. hmmmmmm
