Well, it is now 1 1/2 yrs. and it's beginning to get worse so we are planning to take a trip there. It is NOT going to be a holiday, trust me. She called me yesterday all upset and wanted to know why I took her computer and she wanted it back. Mind you, we haven't even gotten there yet and won't be leaving for another week. So this is what I am going to have to deal with. Anyway, I digress.</p> <p>I have gotten 2 8 gig USB Drives and am planning to take her and my aunt some games.(Thanks you know who you are.) I have also set up Firefox Portable with all my settings, profiles, etc. I was really proud of myself when I figured out how to do that. And I have a few other Portable programs from various sites so I can run most of my things from the USB drives. I found a bunch on <a href="http://portableapps.com/">PortableApps.com - Portable software for USB drives</a> which were quite nice. I even got my Evernote(with all my files) set up portable. </p> <p>But the only virus scan I can find is <a href="http://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/clamwin_portable">ClamWin Portable</a> which I am not familiar with at all. Has anyone used this before or had any experience with it? Or any other suggestions? I need something that is light on the resources but it has to work. Until I can get their computers cleaned up..which I am sure are a mess, I need protection. It doesn't have real time protection but I can run scans.</p> <p>And if you got any suggestions as to what is good portable, I would be grateful. I know about Gimp and Open Office. But for the time I will be there I won't be using anything like that.</p> <p>TIA</p> <p>Edit: Forgot to say.. I found Revo and Everything portable. I couldn't work without them. </p>
