My luck seems to have run out. AfterAWC Pro, I am unable to activate the Icon Catcher. Though I get the activated notification, the program confirms that this is an unregistered version.
The activation after pasting the registry file is not reflecte in the program. I wonder if this is the case elsewhere.

@brickneil: take (copy) the sn out from the "ic.key". open the "Registration.exe" in the program-folder where Icon Constructor has been installed, click on "Enter Code..." and paste the serial.

When you look into the sourcecode of *.wisp (here: 3D Display.wisp), you find "source_mask.png" and "tEXtSoftware Adobe ImageReady".
I don`t own ImageReady...

I cannot find where to insert the reg-key file "ic.key": no any "icon constructor 3" directory cannot I find in "Application Data" !

My system is Windows XP Media Center. I have find "application data" but without that directory.

How can I register the program, witch requires a code to write and not a file to copy in a directory ?

I googled .wisp and found nothing with reference to the program.

I think you will find the clue is in the name of the program. 'Icon Constructor' rather than 'Constructor and Editor'.

I need to add my own icon but it seems Icon Contructor only takes .wisp file... What are .wisp files? And what program can edit those?
