Mine also downloaded reasonably fast for the giveaway site at 455Kb/sec and the speed was rising all the time it was downloading. (took less than 20 seconds :P). The time of day can affect the speed at which you get it to download due to hundreds of others downloading at the same time.

We are getting v10.0 of AWicons.

As for slow download speeds - I get them everyday =(. A trick I learned is that if I pause/unpause the downloads once they slow down or freeze they go a lot faster >.>'. Not sure what that is about but I think it is more of my router then GOTD.

Old boxshot, shows as v. 10 in program, although it took 45 mins to dl a 10 mb file...

well i just used the serial and password provided at gotd with the trial download of version 10 pro trial at the AWiconsPro website, and it registered fine.

Is any else getting horrendously slow dl speeds, ~ 7 kb/s, dropping out repeatedly, both main link and mirror?

and this giveaway appears to be v. 9.4, while the website says v. 10 is available. Old software? Or outdated boxshot?

just my 10 cents. (lowest local denomination)
