Austinkir, disabling Earthlink's internet accelerator is what finally worked for me as I'm still working with XP (sorry forgot to put that info in my question)and I tried gargoyle's control panel suggestion but it was already set to the recommended setting. Still thanks so much to all three of you. I should've posted this problem when it first happened as I missed a couple of things I had some interest in. I think it is caused by connection settings being routed improperly in IE. Some programs alter this without you knowing. I tried the trick with the right-click-administrator - and my game could be installed and played. I've been downloading from here for about a couple of years now and haven't had this problem before. I've done a search and I've disabled the firewall and also added the program to the trusted list and it hasn't helped. I've also cleared the cache and tried downloading it from firefox and IE. Can anyone give me any other possible solutions? I've never had an issue from this site before. Thanks in advance for your time </p>
