It's still registered and the serial is intact, it just expires after a year.

It can still be used, but that's not the point. Just set pc clock 1 year back.

did the readme come with a # if so put it in ! that how I fix it when it unregisters itself!!

Yes / No. If No is pressed, it closes. This program is only good for one year.

Fred, that is what you need to do, fix it yourself or ask one of the other members here for assistance. Giveawayoftheday can't fix anything for you, they did not create the software. This is just a download site, not Technical Support.

In my case, I told my Norton AntiVirus software to 'fix' the problem without investigating first. Had I done some investigating, I may still have the software on my computer. But, once I told Norton to 'fix' the problem, it deleted some files of the 2flyer program and it would not run without those files. I should know better! (more shame)

Well, that´s it. The file is created when you start the configurator for the first time. I didn´t start it yet so the file was created when the screensaver first became active yesterday.

As i said. That´s a really stupid software!

Every one else with this problem turn back computer clock to 7th february, delete the fls.002 file and start the screensaver configurator. Now you´ve got your registered giveaway copy back.
If you have done this so far you can set the clock back to the normal date.

Just tried mine, and it's still saying full copy. Them default
SS's are set in the future for who knows why. But it did that
at the time it was installed. Noticed it does put a small txt
file ending in .002 (i think) in the Wimbos dir. with 2-7-09.
Maybe that file got del.?

The developer of the software should fix the error in the software that makes it lying about being installed or not installed within the giveaway period.
It is definitely installed within. All folders are created on 7th February.
Only some parts of the program are dated 2003 - 2005. Seems to be a very old version of the program. :(

Since giveawayoftheday doesn´t seem to care like every time i´m going to ask the developer of the software directly to solve the problem.

Well... very strange. The default four screensaver files are dated 28th november 2010 20:17. How the hell did this happen? I never touched those files.
However there´s sure a way to patch the creation date. :)

Doesn´t seem to be the problem. If i turn back the computer clock it shows up as Full Edition. With actual date is flippes again to unregistered copy.
There´s definitely something wrong with this software.

Hi, my "2flyer Screensaver maker" has no problem and makes none.
And it can read German - even the date.
Hoss, a check at http://virusscan.jotti.org/ gave absolutely nothing (never seen before a consensus there) and http://www.virustotal.com/de/analisis/ had a result of 2/37:
eSafe: Suspicious File and Trend Micro: PAK_Generic.001; my own Kaspersky did not find anything suspicious.
Fred, who shall fix what? And why? I never heard about a stupid software, maybe developers can be stupid and once in a blue moon even moderators (well, that's very unusual) in contrast to users, they are all unbelievably intelligent....

Yesterday I got a Trojan Horse warning from my Norton AntiVirus about 2flyer Screensaver maker. Norton said it "tried to access my network resources". In the process of fixing it, I uninstalled 2flyer. Had I realized that it was 2flyer and that the software has a 'phone home' part to it I would have told Norton to disregard it for now. But, if Fred's acctually connected to their website, it probably 'updated' to a newer version which voids the GOTD registration.

Too bad to because I liked the software. :(

BTW Fred, GOTD can't fix it for you.

Today a error message came up that something would be wrong with the installation date of the giveawayoftheday version of 2flyer screensaver builder pro i grabbed here and installed within the 24 hours i had to do so.
What´s wrong with this stupid software? Is this program unable to read the german date from my PC?
Now it flipped to unregistered trial version.

Please fix this immediately!
