I made the self extracting exe backup thing-a-ma-bob (sorry without it to look at I cant give you anything exact). I put it on a USB drive and a CD for the 'just incase' time. Anyway, to make it short. I had the big crash and had to reformat and reinstall (back to Windows XP). Although I checked after doing the back up (and they showed on there) nothing was there when I tried to recover from it. Even now, after getting everything back up and running; I downloaded the trial version of it just to see if it could see it. Nope.. it is gone like it never happened.</p> <p>Granted, I am not the most computer literate person around, but I know enough that I get by and help others. Basically, I dont know if I would let myself be dependent on this again. I will be sure to have my drivers backed up in other ways from now on. (Though unless it is given away again here..
