Can someone give me an answer to this within the next few hours before the Antilogger giveaway is obsolete:

I commented on the download page that after a couple of hours use on a XP + SP3 laptop, Antilogger froze for a minute or so when simply just starting a program, and when it recovered it wanted to include a LOT of info in the error report that it requested to send. So I decided to uninstall it. But after a few hours rumination I'm tempted to give it another go.

However, after each restart subsequent to the removal, Windows reckoned that new hardware now existed and kept running the installation wizard even though, of course, there was nothing new and so I resorted to restoring my machine from a backup that I took last night.

What causes Windows to behave like this (apart from it being Windows per se), and is there an easy way to stop it running the 'install new hardware' wizard after every restart (because cancel just results in it happening again after the next reboot) ?

This program ist not compatible with Win2000 as stated in the software's description. It requires at least Windows XP.
