CDCheck I have been using for about 8 years.

It's free for personal use, if you're using it in a professional capacity you must cough up for a licence.

If you're a freebie person then you have to create an account as to get the registration key.

I never received spam from them either so they're safe.

http://www.kvipu.com/CDCheck/helplink.php?helpfn=registration

- CDCheck (free)
- IsoBuster (not free)
- RecoverDisc or something like that, today on bitsdujour

Hello jhb1 - What you're describing sounds to me more like a keylogger, and a keylogger is a whole different animal than a username/password safe. Keylogger’s will capture keystrokes, mouse clicks, passwords, track sent and received emails, monitor internet activity, log launched applications, and create detailed reports afterwards. Depending on the program those reports may include snapshots that can be replayed as a slideshow of those days activities.

Offhand the only keylogger programs on GAOTD that I can recall were:

- Powered Keylogger
- Hide My Folders
- Ardamax Keylogger
- Keylogger Hunter

If you look through the GAOTD archives there are probably more.

I have also used LastPass. I really like it. It is relatively customizable and easy to use. It works in IE and Firefox. Better yet you can setup the same account on different computers and have it remember all you logins from each and access all your logins from each.

I've been using LastPass for my passwords and username and am very happy with it. I don't think it will do email but you can add secure notes to each login. It is browser based and can autofill logins and forms.

I checked my crystal ball and came up with nothing. (Just Joking)

There have been a number of username/password keepers offered here jhb1. There is no way that any of us could possibly know which one your referring to. Best thing is to wait for another one to be offered and try it.

I don't think that is the solution your looking for but its probably the best your going to get. (Unless someone has a better crystal ball LOL)

Sorry
