I must admit I'm less concerned about the people in the forums than I am about some of the newbies in the comments section. If people don't understand that you have to take the proper precautions, then they're in the wrong place. If anybody downloads software without taking any precautions, they might need to go back to pen and paper. Part of the problem is that the really sharp people talk about downloading and trying practically everything, because they do. For them, it's a fun hobby, which makes sense to me. They're so experienced, they take the proper precautions automatically, so they don't bother to talk about it. That might mislead a newbie. Myself, I don't have the time to test a lot of software, so I'm looking for proven solutions. So I'm like you, I look for software testing sites and other reviews. I try to take advantage of the good work that has already been done. I can't think of anybody on this forum that knows more about testing games than Whiterabbit, so I'm sure he'll be reasonably careful. While I was looking, I found Wikipedia's list of portable games. I realize for some of you hard core gamers, anything that can be made portable must seem hopelessly crude. On the other hand, I figure some of you are so addicted, you're probably desperate for stuff to take with you (LOL). I can't believe this hasn't already been posted on some thread somewhere, but I couldn't find it with a search.
