So to check your theory, I copied the original installation, which I'd backed up on my external and then added the lac file. Created a desktop icon and booted the program up. It works perfectly and says that it's registered to Giveawayoftheday. When I first booted it up it did ask if I wanted to update it which I declined. </p> <p>It maybe that the program has somehow been updated. Perhaps someone else that uses the computer???? </p> <p>Sorry to hear you've lost the use of it. It may be that the program was never registered, but an extended demo. Adding the lac file would have taken away the demo nature of the software.
