Yeah BitDefender didn't look like it was getting too many requests, so I thought I'd go with it instead of the big ones. Besides, I've never been a big fan of NAV or McAfee (use up too much resources.)

Hey Wizard, BitDefender is one of the top packages. So well done on that.

Murphy firewall (if it's still called that) is great.

I used to use some of the free plugins for messenger type applications many years ago.

I do use their free online scanner as a backup and it works fast.

Not yet, Lee - at least not for me, anyway. Raymond said he is still working on the tallies, though, and will announce further winners. I hope the one I asked for is really good. I have one good computer - actually I have 2, though one is an 'ancient' Gateway, but it is going back to Fort Campbell with my son when his leave is up. With only one computer I can't afford to do a bunch of experimenting...lol.

Well, I just went over there, and put in my humble little beg...lol. I decided to try for the RISING Antivirus 2008 + Firewall. So many people have asked for my top 2 choices, Kaspersky and Norton, I figured I wouldn't stand a 'snowball's chance in He!!' of getting one of those...LOL.
