They are message that I received is the same one that I've gotten many times in the past - "unable to connect with GiveawayoftheDay server".</p> <p>I have made a great many changes on my computer during the past several days. When I checked the operating systems "system files" I found corrupt files as well as missing files. I ran the SFC /scannow Windows application followed by reinstalling SP 3. I haven't noticed any problems other than having to reinstall some programs since I made the changes on my computer.</p> <p>Since I have gone such a long time without having a connection to server problem I am not make any further changes until I have a chance to see if today's problem is an isolated one.</p> <p>I have noticed over the past several weeks that logging into this forum sometimes takes an inordinate amount of time. It makes no difference whether I'm using Internet Explorer 7 or Firefox 3. If this happens while I'm using Firefox, Firefox gives me a message saying that the server is redirecting my request. This problem does not happen all the time but it happens enough that I was moved to ask if anyone else was having the same problem. When I last checked, no one had replied to my question. I'm glad that drop also.
