To be more precise, it appears to be a contention issue: too many people sharing a limited amount of bandwidth.</p> <p>My advice to you is to keep trying! The exact wording was "7 day download limit reached". Just below the error message was a line that said "File download, even for sites that have exceeded their traffic limit". If you use the latest versions of WinRar, and 7-zip (can be earlier ones, but I'm 100% sure on the latest), simply extracting part1 will extract everything else. Comparing the file size of the folder after extraction, and all of the archives (RAR to be exact), you can understand. Also, I have successfully installed the game, and it runs perfectly fine.</p> <p>Now, just to clarify (even though if you read my post correctly, and carefully, you'll get the idea), here is my theory (edited):<br /> 1) First of all, creating another folder on the desktop isn't really needed, because once you extract the archive, it'll be all in a folder of it's own. The folder is labelled: wingsofwar.eu<br /> 2) 7-Zip and WinRar both works fine.<br /> 3) You simply have to extract from the part1 file, WinRar/7-Zip will do the rest.<br /> 4) The No CD patch for v1.0 is already included in the crack folder.<br /> 5) #2-3 of this theory should work for all .part.rar files, and even other archives (zip, cab, etc). I have been playing it ever since it was posted after the Sky Aces games was given away. It may take a while to download but it is worth it. The graphics are great and the game play is very addictive. I have gone back and played all of the levels many, many times now. The first three or four levels are the hardest in a lot of ways. Use the Pizzadox cheat to enable you to start on some of the later levels. Make sure though that you complete ground school as it will show you all you kneed to know to play the game (well almost). Once you have gotten better at the game you can come back and try the earlier levels again. Second of all, both WinRar and 7zip automatically extract data from all of the files downloaded, simply if you just extract from the first one, because they are .part.rar files, which is basically a .rar file separated into more than 1 (in this case 6) pieces. So, extracting data from each of the files will be useless, and a complete waste of time (plus create the error that fullbug mentioned). Also I believe the no CD patch for v1.0 is already included in the crack folder of the wingsofwar.eu folder. Verified by using Easy Duplicate Finder. Anyways, I could be wrong, but I'm very confident on this. I could try and contact the people responsible (if some are having problems downloading the files) and see if I can upload the files I have to my filefront account so that there will be an unlimited bandwidth site where you can download the files from.</p> <p>My advice to those who are having problems; please do persevere as this is a great game. Even if you've never played a flight sim before, this is easy to learn and once you've mastered flying (takes a few minutes at most), there's loads of fun to be had in either the campaign or instant action modes. I followed it up because for a few years I’d been looking for a particular World War I flight simulator that I’d had the pleasure to play when it was released as a demo several years ago. </p> <p>Anyway, I've decided to repost the game as part of the free game of the week project simply because it has become buried in the games discussion forums. I didn’t actually mention the name of the game when posting about it; writing instead "An alternative to Sky Aces". It deserved much more in my opinion. The patches are small by comparison. There's a v1.2 patch, and two no CD patches one for the original v1.0 version and one for if you patch it to v1.2. It seems that some WoW community members still play the v1.0 version online, so if you update it to v1.2 you won’t be able to play those.
