Barry.. during set up I unchecked the yahoo toolbar and the option to make that my startup so I didn't have to deal with that.

Hi.
Just to edit my comment above, to remove the Yahoo toolbar, open Internet Explorer go to the little arrow in the search toolbar, go to "change search default", change it back to your regular search engine, and then highlight Yahoo and hit remove. Close IE go to "Add or Remove Programs" in Control Panel, remove Yahoo. You then might have to Reboot to get rid of it completely.
On the other hand if you like it use it, I guess the programmers of free software have to get paid somehow, my opinion on programs that install on my machine, without my permission, they are pure history, no exceptions.

Hello,
Thanks for the link, Lee, the program has a nice look to it and lots of options to select from. The program, after opening, prompts you to make a system restore point and a registry backup, before proceeding, I liked that.
I tried the Firefox optimize tool "automatic setting" and it did make a noticeable difference in loading pages speed.
The registery fix might be a little too aggressive, just this morning I used Windows Live One Care service and it found and removed about 600 invalid registery items, System Care, tonight found another 260. I am to tired to go trough them tonight.
I have not tested all the options in the program, so far it looks like a keeper.
The program does come with a little present though, the "Yahoo Toolbar", Scotty could not stop it, after about a dozen pop-up warnings, I let the tool bar install, it seems to be a little tricky to get rid of, it sets itself as the default search engine, in Internet Explorer.
Catch you latter,
Barry
