It does not lag.

It's being moderated.

I guess 99.99% of users wish not to see spam, racist comments, warez links and profanity.

Thats why it seems ...... to lag.

You could have 40 comments being moderated by 1 person.

The first thing I do each morning is check this website! When there's a giveaway of interest, I keep the comments page open most of the day and 'refresh' often to make sure I'm up-to-date on them. At some point, I then decide if I'm going to download and install the giveaway.

Today's (Friday, 11/7/08) 'RecentX' is a good example of the issue: it's now 2:34 pm ET and the last comment (#58) was posted at 10:18 am ET, more than 4 hours ago.

I know that all comments go into moderation before they are posted, but how come there's sometimes such a lag between posted comments?
