Thanks for answering LadyLucks query Spodo, I've only just seen it.

I would have posted instructions, but I'm trying to cut down on the time I spend writing each free games post. Sometimes I've spent several hours researching and finding info about a particular game, which has meant other things have been ignored (it's one of the reasons I took so long to fix the wireless problem I had previously). Anyway, the last couple of months have taken their toll on my enthusiasm (though I'm not stopping). I'm finding it really difficult to even answer Emails at the moment or play the many games I've purchased recently. I've got three months worth of games credits over at Big Fish Games that I've not redeemed yet, and the last three games I got free for Beta testing I've not even bothered to activate yet. Most of the DVD based games I've bought over the last few months remain unplayed and I've still to get the other computers connected to the net. ('scuze the violins, lol)

LadyLuck - one of the menus at the top of the window is Options and the first item on it is SET CONFIG.

When you select this, another small window appears that sets the game to use the keyboard for each of the ports (the mouse does appear on a drop down menu but doesn't seem to be selectable).

Click on the DEFINE button next to it, and a series of text prompts will appear near the bottom of the window, each asking you to press which key you want to use for each action or movement.

Hello, and thanks for the games you post. But I sometimes can't get them to work. I have downloaded Animaniacs, and it has started for me, but there is not a help file, and I don't know what keys to use to perform an action, such as, picking up the bomb. My first challenge. I know to use the arrow keys and space bar to jump. Please help me, thank you. LadyLuck ( or not so lucky) lol

Hi ornithos,
yeah; i do think I'd burnt myself out a little last month. I'm definitely going to take it a little slower now. (Hey you have the same initials as me)

Regards

Hi Stephen,

Thanks for your reply to my question; I will definitely give this a try as the screenshots and description look interesting.

Quite a technical achievement to have both the game and the emulator rolled into one. I presume that the SNES sister site to gamefabrique.com has games that operate in a similar way.

Make sure you don't overdo things, as this community relies heavily on you.

Regards,

Hi Ornithos,
It's an emulated game; but, it comes with the emulator already installed wityh the game, so you just have to unzip and install. Works well. I'll be posting quite a few of the games from this site over the coming months (assuming that I'm abble to keep up the pace. (The time away while fixing my computers gave me a much needed rest.

Thanks samm.

Hello Stephen,

Thank you for this games; it looks interesting.

A quick question before I download/install: is this an actual PC game or do I need to run some Sega emulator on my PC. Having looked at the gamefabrique.com website I saw it is full of games I've never heard of before.

It's good to have you online again.

Many thanks in advance, regards,

Animaniacs:

Today’s game is another Sega game so when you start the game up, if you want to play in full screen just click on Esc. The tool bar you see when in windowed mode is more to emulate the look of the old console game; for example you can set the game up to show the scan lines you’d see on the TV when this game was originally played. All of those controls can be ignored. The game is a 2D platform puzzler. If you have kids they will love playing this one with you as it’s based around cartoon characters

In Animaniacs game, Yakko, Wakko and Dot have been up to their crazy antics again – this time they've decided to gather important props from the Warner Bros. studio to fill their new “hip pop culture” store. Help them realize their ambition by exploring the following six movie sets: The Adventure of Dirk Rugged VII, Space Trucking, Remember the A La Mode, Once There was a Man Named Oscar, To Scream or Not to Scream, and Pinky & the Brain Take Over the World. On each stage you'll need to find the target item (such as a hat, badge or helmet) while solving puzzles and avoiding traps.
Instead of using one character, however, you'll be able to switch between all three at any time during the game (the other two will tag behind the leader). Each character also has a special ability which will prove useful in your quest: Yakko can push or pull boxes, Wakko has a large mallet to pound things, and Dot can “flirt” by sending hearts to charm characters blocking your path.
Since each level is based on the theme of a particular movie, you'll have to watch out for giant boulders, catapults, runaway trains, and many other dangers. Animaniacs also includes cameos from characters: Mindy and Buttons, Dr. Scratchansniff, The Nurse, Rita and Runt, Ralph the security guard, The Good Feathers and The Hip Hippos. A password will let you continue your progress at a later time.
Animaniacs Includes:
•	Each character has unique talents.
•	Search the Warner Bros.
•	Skip a level with the password.
•	Assortment of weapons.
In Animaniacs, Yakko, Wakko, and Dot decide to open their own store, and they're searching the Warner Bros. lot for items to sell. You will have to guide the three siblings through four stages of action. Each character has unique talents that will help you get through the many obstacles in your path. You will also have to use an assortment of weapons, like hammers and bombs, to dispatch the enemies that are after you. Once you complete a level, you can skip past it if you enter the password. In Animaniacs Yakko, Wakko, and Dot are depending on you to help them get their store open.
Animaniacs is a side-scrolling action game with easy puzzles based on the animated TV series. The Warner kids, Yakko, Wakko, and Dot have escaped the water tower again and are on a quest to retrieve movie memorabilia from the Warner Bros. studio lot.
There are 4 stages in the game, and in each stage the Animaniacs must work as a team to get past obstacles and enemies. Wakko can use his hammer to smash things, Dot can blow kisses to charm simple minded enemies and Yakko can pull or push boxes.

The music in Animaniacs is great and it matches the place your at (like at the west place it sounds western) It comes out in clear, crisp, stereo. It could only get better if you heard it being recorded. As for the graphics, they look very cartoonish. Everything looks cartoon-like and sometimes realistic.
