Hey, I am running OS X 10.5.5 and have a few videos that were encoded in ways my ipod cant play and was wondering if anyone knew a good free program for mac that can convert some .avi's to .mp4's.

I tried "MPEG Streamclip (Version 1.9.2)" found at http://www.squared5.com/ ... but I don't like it soo much. It takes about 3 hours to convert a 90 minute movie. And dosen't do Batch conversions (I have like... 200 videos that I need to convert)

Does anyone know of a good program that will do Batch Conversions from .avi to .mp4 (I plan on keeping original, then converting it with same quality, then iPod quality).

Btw, my mac is.... 24 inch 3.06Ghz iMac. 4 gigs of ram. 1Tb HD. Nvidia Geforce 8800.
